Thermoelectric Demonstrator
Thermoelectric Demonstrator
Thermoelectric Demonstrator Demonstrate
the second law of thermodynamics with this device. Immerse one of the aluminum legs in ice water and the other leg in hot water to demonstrate how heat transfer can be converted to electrical energy. This conversion causes the turbine to rotate. Show the opposite effect of converting electrical energy into thermal energy by connecting the device to a DC power supply. In this activity, direct current is supplied to the unit so that one of the bands heats up and the other stays cold.
Includes a set of two 24" banana patch cords and a detailed activity guide.
