Simple and easy to use, Life/form® Injection and Venipuncture Arms are ideal for teaching venipuncture and injection techniques, including IVs and over-the-needle IV catheters. This simulator saves you the hassle of looking for volunteers and helps avoid injuries and liabilities while students learn.

Realism in every detail, down to fingerprints. But above all a realistic feeling of the puncture on vinyl skin and latex veins. The skin actually rolls on palpation of the vein and the characteristic “pop” is heard as the needle enters the vein. The veins are accessible in the antecubital fossa, on the forearm and on the back of the hand, allowing venipuncture to be performed at key sites.

The practice of intramuscular injection is equally realistic. A foam pad simulates muscle tissue and boundaries are delivered by natural bone-like landmarks. Life/form® injection and venipuncture arms are designed with replaceable skins and veins. Complete replacement skin kits are available and easy to use. To extend the life of each skin/vein kit, a spray sealant is available to seal punctures in the tubes and prevent leaks.
