The Earth/sun system demonstrates the seasons, eclipses, and the phases of the moon. The sun has a LED that sends a spot of light onto the Earth. The sun turns with the handle as the user changes the seasons. The moon revolves around the Earth as the Earth rotates around on its axis. The angle of the Earth can vividly demonstrate how the tilt of the Earth determines the seasons of hot and cold. As the moon rotates around the Earth the LED can illuminate the different phases of the moon as well as demonstrating the shadow cast by the moon.
