BONElike  Skull, Semi Transparent, 8 Part, Detailed Bone Structures

The new BONElike™ skulls are made of a new type of material, which for the first time allows absolute fidelity in the detailed reproduction of the finest anatomical structures. Bones made with 3B BONElike™ look just like real bones. Their structure and weight are particularly realistic.

Thanks to the combination of a transparent half of the skull and a bone half, this model especially gives anatomy teachers a topographic comparison of structures that are not visible in other skull models. The transparent right half of the skull makes it possible to study the main anatomical details, as well as the position of the nasal sinuses. In combination with the bony left half of the skull, a direct transposition of the normally invisible structures can be done easily. The transparency of the jaw allows a unique approach to pockets and tooth roots. For a detailed view, the teeth are removable. In addition, the musculature of mastication (M. masseter, M. temporal) is represented on the bony half of the skull. For the demonstration of the chewing movement, the mandible is movable. The two halves of the skull cap and the base of the skull, the nasal septum, the complete mandible and the two masticatory muscles are removable. All these characteristics make this skull particularly interesting for dental surgeons.
